Now where was I? Ah yes, “getting a life”. But that’s another story.
Many years later as I stocked up my workshop with many and varied hand and power tools, I restarted my messing about with timber. The original puzzle theme remained in my head but it began to evolve. I had bits of dowel hanging around and so I produced the model on the left (previous page). I knew that once it was put together no bugger would ever get it apart. For the past 20 years no one has. Hence my logo.
Still later on I became fascinated with computer animation, and in particular an application called 3D Studio by Autocad.
3DS was a wonderful tool for exploring solid geometry, and as my middle name is Maurice (as in MC Escher), it became a virtual wonderland.
The background image for my website is actually a pale grey tile taken from a 3Dstudio construction. If you know how to, you will find that the image below can be tesselated infinitely. Have fun! Geometry is worth exloring. Back to Main page
